i tryed in 2 pc ,and i have same problem ,the software screen close while is " building custom IPSW file ", i m using restore 2.0.2 for 2g

can anyone help ? all steps work ok till restore iphone with custom firmware created by winpwn with itunes , itunes give an iphone can't be restored error (6) , any ideea ?

use "expert on" and resize root partition to 900

ok i done all steps but my itunes say that i have to put an original sim to activate the iphone,but i don't have original sim,how to activate the iphone 3g

I think u can try without sim inset any normal sim than try

If u have saved the files in some other directory then simply click "YES" n locate the file manually. That should work...
