my iphone show
no service

help.iphone was using 1.1.4 unlock using ziphone 2.5 ..recently up to ver 2.0.2 and using itune 7.7.1and try winpgn 2.5 beta to act/jailb/unlock..done the process right..got pic on my iphone say that "iphone ready to restore"..open itune 7.7.1 and try to restored "custom firmware"...give error 6??...what is that?...helpp pleaseeeeee i repeat lot of time already...i restored orginal 2.0.2..and do a same process..same result.....error 6?????

i unlock the iphone 3g V 2.0.2 is unlocked succesfuly

but After unlock the phone say no network

if som one cane help me

Software is perfect 6 i-phone 2g all work i suggest to use in not Expert mode more simply and you cannot make disaster.

I have a first gen Iphone unlocked with ziphone and using it on t-mobile.

If I understand correctly, with winpwn 2.5 I need

Itunes 7.7 (8 wont work right)
bootloader 3.9 and 4.6
iPhone1,1_2.0.2_5C1_Restore.ipsw firmware

anything else.

Just follow the instructions they provide.

Dont want to brick my phone

actually I found the software and just about finished with the upgrade. Hopefully it wont be too long before we can install 2.1

For iphone 3g there is no unlock, that unlock what men here put is only for the jailbreak - unlock! That means,you can use your iphone for installation apps, wireless or whateva, but cannot use your SIM-card.

Repeat for Iphone 3g there is no unlock-SIM card, just some "Brazilian way", some men from Brazil has unlocked iphone 3g, with some their SIM card, something like turbo SIMs card for first generations iphone!
