the logic is, right now we have the tools to unlock all BB FM fr 4.xxx to 5.13
the sole purpose of this thread is to guide others who's having 4.0 on 3gs and want to use it since redsnow & spirit does't support it for JB at the moment

What the threadstarter has failed to explain is how he got past the error msg 'iphone the device is not eligible for the requested build' when trying to downgrade the 3Gs.
Everything is basically correct in theory.

If your phone is 3G u can downgrade it as simply then you will get error 1015. But it's okay
just run Irecovery to kick dfu mode.

But in 3gs afaik not supported unless If u have shsh blob back up from saurik server.

kung automatic sya ma save that good kc di ko talaga itry i save sa saurik pero alam ko ung tinutukoy mo kc ganito yan kahapon 3.1.3 yng unit since i have 3gs & 3g in my hand so i try every posible way i try both to pdate to 4.0 3g manages to comply meaning working in 3g heres the link of my post

so i look for another possible way just to make sure i can still use the 3gs
so came here i just downgrade 3gs.
using itunes 9.2 in my post ive told you that you'll encounter an error in the last part of restoring just ignore it & close cydia then open iH8sn0w - iREB V3.1.2 For Windows-English click fix recovery loop & it will fix it for you
now it reboots in ver 3.1.3 so i proceed to jb then unlock

sir in 3G Wala pong problem both downgrade and unlocking.

my issue is in 3GS downgrading firmware without shsh back up.
From 4.0 to 3.1.3

maybe merong previous back up hung 3gs na ginawa mo at Dimo Lang napansin Kaya
you can downgraded it without error sa firmware 3.1.3. Yum ang paniniwala ko. But if 3GS doesn't perform uploading shsh blobs in saurik server when it was 3.1.3 then accidentally na update ng 4.0 wala po tlagng solusyon alam ko para maidowngrade.

correct !! but i do mention that there will be an error in itunes in the later part just ignore it close itunes then open ireb click fixrecovery mode loop & wait till reboot
