The contacts of your sim card need to face the front of your phone and the card needs to be inserted VERY deep into the phone until you hear a "click".

If your phone doesn't recognize your sim card, then it sounds like a hardware problem You COULD try to make your sim card a little thicker by putting some tape on the back, maybe it'll bring the contacts closer to the contacts inside the phone. Other than that, I don't know an "easy fix", I don't now anything about the hardware, I definitely could't repair a phone

dude, try another sim card just to see if it's the phone or the sim card. Get a sim card from a friend and TS. Also, when you bought the phone, was it specified as Unlock? This could be another reason. Does this phone is equip to be use with two sim card? If it is, try the other slot.
