Don't try to Extract Firmware zip.
Put the firmware in sd card and Flash it via usb OTG.

Check in this thread of first page main post. Already there is posted how to flash with usb OTG.

I've used that link and copied the zip file on a USB which then connects to the phone. I then tried to install the zip via the same settings as the guide but I get a install error.

Htc m7 1st i flashed with 401201 4.4.3 firmware but phone show logo then restart then i download lolipop 430964 firmware phone powerd on but baseband unknown plz help.
