Wink Neat Little Tool for Our future

Here is a neat little Freeware tool I found...it is "Effects of Nuclear Weapons" calculator. Have some fun calculating the effect of Radiation, Thermal Heat & Pressure Damage of varying size Nuclear bombs exploded at different heights & distances from blast. It also has a template of past explosions to compare the effects of such bombs in history.

Did you try it the way kingtyce described it in this post: http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/show...ostcount=15862 ?

But you should search the forum for lightwav, recently there were some posts saying that LightWav seems to be very unstable...

cm

Cardreader over Bluetooth USB HELP!!!!!!

From the makers' website (http://www.mobile-stream.com/cr_faq.html), it appears that I need to have another Bluetooth software stack, "WIDCOMM/Broadcom or BlueSoleil Bluetooth software stacks". I have been to both sites, but I am not sure how to go about installing it. Any insight on this?

Chad

Yes, as per (http://www.mobile-stream.com/cr_faq.html), cardreader DOES indeed work with bluetooth. All i am wanting this to do is have it so that i flip on bluetooth on my laptop and Treo, and then a Drive pops up on my computer where i can transfer files.

This doesn't seem too difficult. Has anyone got this working? I have spent close to 20 hours trying to fix it.

Chad

Cardreader over Bluetooth

2 points:

The Cardereader site (mobile-stream.com/cr_faq.html) says that i need a WIDCOMM/Broadcom Bluetooth software stack. I interpret this to mean a need a 'driver' for the bluetooth device on my laptop (y/n?). The Microsoft one wont work apparently.

It was my understanding that a compatible WIDCOMM/Broadcom driver can be found by looking in C:\Windows\inf\bth.inf
Here it says that I can use either the BCM2035 or the BCM2033 drivers by Broadcom. I couldn't find the 2035, but installing the 2033 caused an error that said "Bluetooth device not found."

Does this mean that I need to install some other driver before i install this Broadcom driver? What is meant by a software stack other than a device driver?

I really need help. Has anyone done this successfully?

Chad
