it is still in beta version so yes, prob still buggy...people mentioned that it does pop up under hede in palminternals meaning that is slows down the device....

there are screen shots in the adobe file on the website, manual for software

i havent tried it out yet myself
Actually no, I don't use that function. I see how it may come in handy, but I seem to have mine customized how I like it. May try it out once things get fixed more.

I see it is 9b3 back on the home page instead of the 9b4 I saw on there a few minutes ago. Not sure what that is all about but i'm sure it will keep getting better as more feedback comes through.

im gonna try the other file someone posted.

thanks!
Ok I figured out how to use the keygen. Figured i'd go ahead and share with you all if anyone is having the same problem i did.

- I installed all 3 files.
- I then opened up buzz and wrote down the Serial #
- Then I installed the keygen
- I used MultiUserHack to change the hotsync name for the KEYGEN to the serial # the orignal file gives you (the one you wrote down)
- Run the keygen and it should give you the correct Reg Code

and it registered fine! thanks a lot folks

How do you convert the ROMS over so the Palm device excepts it?

I know with like NesEm there is a ROM tool that converts them over, but I don't know how to do that with firestorm. Any suggestions from anyone that has used firestorm>

Just a few days late as this was already posted, and i'm sure that's how you found it, but at least it looks like you used the search function

Hooray for a newbie!

Haha, I just found the special instructions for this keygen and was coming to post them. Looks like you figured them out already Good job, glad you were successful, I was getting ready to test it on the Simulator.

Here are the formal instructions...the only thing I see in addition is the recommendation to add a zero to the number it gives you if necessary:
Quote:
Install Buzz on your device, and go to reg screen to get the hardware serial.
Install keygen on device or simulator. Use MultiUserHack or other means to set username for Buzz keygen to be the hardware serial obtained previously.
Enter any serial in the keygen, to get your real Buzz serial.
As usual with ToySoft apps, serial should be 5 digits, so add zero to the front if you only get 4.

Textras 1.0
Textras is a an essential tool for those who do a lot of text entry on their Palm devices. Textras allows you to define a list of abbreviations or commonly misspelled words that will be automatically replaced with the expanded text or correct spelling when entered into any text field. For instance, you can set up Textras to automatically replace 'recieve' with 'receive' or to replace your initials with your full name. Textras also fixes common typing errors that may occur when using a keyboard for text entry, such as DOuble INitial CApitals, double spaces between words, or irregular spacing between sentences.
hey did you ever find that program?

Use a card reader or card read program to put the roms directly into the firestorm file that is now on the card ,also I believe you can trick your hotsync into believeing that roms are .prc if you change the .rom or whatever to .prc then you can hotsync them and if they dont go into the proper file you could use zlauncher or something else to move them into the firestorm folder hope this makes sense anyway good luck it's alot easier than it sounds

Awesome, I'll try to clean that up a little so it just says 'Registration Successful' without trying to connect.... Thank you my Guinea Pig for figuring this out for us!

Now I wanted to know if anyone could make the interface abit more pleasing. I think that the buttons are way to small on the interface. can anyone make them a bit bigger?? Also the clock and date are wayy to small imo.. I check the date and time frequently on my treo for sales calls etc and this would by annoying since it so small.

can this be done??
I'll see what I can do...

Thank you so, so much for the feedback!! Have you figured out what the differences between pyramid and pyramania are? I thought it was weird that they were included in the code as options... but were hidden. They may not be finished or may be buggy or something, but I figured a new buggy option is better than a hidden buggy one.

Yeah, that was my last option. Trying to load onto the card. Figured there must be a ROM install tool out there but haven't found one yet.

Tried the .prc and .pdb thing and when I changed them and then did a sync, they disappeared from the palm installer but didn't find them on the device.

I'll try the other way. One thing I noticed was like 1942 on the Gameboy one is like 1mb and it is WAY smaller for the NesEm emulator I use.

Not sure why this is. Guess i'll have to see how big the rest of the files are. No bid deal with an SD card, but 1mb versus 128kb

Just seems odd.
