Imei _ Security question

Hi,

I saw many people who post their imei numbers for obtain a free unlock code in other sections of the forum.

Here is the question, Does it totally secure post the imei number in public?

Some scammers can hack or copy your imei for clone other blackberries phones?

Thanks.

It's possible these persons can clone your imei and pin device but for the server BB if the BCN isn't the result of the algorythm of your imei/pin then you can't access to BIS/BES.

So you can paste it : No one can use full BB services.
