First of all, use the newest version: Route66.Mobile.v7.3.545. There is a cracked version out there.

I installed it on my phone memory. I've put the maps on my memory card, but don't forget to put the language (sound) also on the memory card;Route66 will not check the phone memory for it when the map is installed on the memory card and Route66 is installed on the phone memory.

Thanks HardSlam and Fat-boy for your replies. So it looks like you can only install the application0 onto the phone memory but with the maps on the memory card.

I'm using the older version cos this one works with sound. Thanks HardSlam for the tip on getting sound for v7.3.545.

My guess is on the phone memory:so \system\apps\route66\<a map> << there the sound file should be located.

In short:
Route66 on phone memory && Maps on SD --> sound should also be on SD.
Route66 on phone memory && Maps on phone memory --> OK.
Route66 on SD && Maps on SD --> OK.
