How can I get local/Test mode on BB5 fones using TMA adapter


Hi,

I am trying to unlock nokia N70, I have connected TMA adapter (Black end) to cyclone yellow adapter, I have tried 2.2 and 3.3 but the phone still the same thing can't get any local or test mode.

hi

you need plug in the red cable on the TMA adapter for use with cyclone

the black cable is for mt box ( 10 pin)

not sure on the correct bsi level - try 10

You must unplug the fbus from the TMA every time you try a value..
remember all the switches mus be in OFF apart the one you need as added value.
The USB cable of the TMA, if present, must be connected to a free usb port of the computer.
If you are using an UFC cable, leave only the 1 on on the TMA and do the tests using different values on the UFC as BSI.

Hi,

I have connected cyclone + yellow cable + TMA adapter red + JAF N70 adapter + Nokia N70 adapter, I left 5 on (5.1) but still can't unlock. Do I have to connect usb cable too.

You should! the usb cable is to give more power to the mobile.. important when the mobile blinks instead of going in local mode.

i say when using TMA with old BB5 phones...
Check Flashing BUS and also Set value to 7.5k
works all the time...be sure ur cable fitted properly as well

tma +cables from gpg works fine tested on to0 many fone specially on n95 normel and 8gb

With TMA any 7pin cable can be used for good local mode ...
