How to use JAF universal cable with cyclonebox

Hi

I use to use JAF universal cable for E75. After the connection, I can see the phone comes up "local mode" but can't be detected by the program.

Do I need to use the adaptor just like other BB5 ?

What BSI I should use ? 10, 7.5, 5.1 3.3 ?

Any other special setting for the program ?

pls adivce. tks

For BB5 phones, you need to use the TX2 adapter (the yellow ones)

Yes. I want to unlock the phone. Actually, I am being told JAF universal cable can be used before I bought the box but just don't know what is happening to this model.

tks

Yes. that is the one I can get "local mode" come up following your pinout and BSI value. However, no responce for "info" or "check Fbus" under BB5 or DCT 4.

pls advice. tks

Please address the problem and provide proper solution

Forget to point out, I can use nokia 2760 easy cable to unlock and I can use Normal JAF 7 pins to read and unlock other BB5 phones. Except this one, I don't have the right cable, that's why I use the universal one. When I try to read in JAF, it works, so, definitely it's not the cable or connection problem. It's just about can't read under your program. However, I am wondering, normally if there is any problem with the cable or connection, the phone shouldn't come up local mode, but as I mentioned before it comes up all the time no matter I use the 5 pins or 7 pins cable. just not reading info and can't process any unlocking etc..

I read the forum, there are many similer cases that the phones do go to local model but then can't read or unlock etc.. This is a fun*****tal problem that really have to resolve as I am also being told universal cable can 't used BEFORE I buy your box.

Please address the problem and give us a solution.
