my cyclone box cant detect phone...[SOLVED - Thanks PTT]


ts an update regarding on my cyclone box...

my box is already registered to other name,,not mine...but its no big deal for that matter,
but my problem is my box cant detect phone,,i try to connect my 7390,my 6680 and my 1208 nokia phone but undetected.

cyclone team,,what is the problem of my box?

if i connect my phone to my jaf (w/pkey) using the same cable it was detected and running fine good...

is my box have a problem?

expexting for an immediate response...

Which error msj you get ? can you post the BOX SELFTEST LOG

Which phone you conect to the box ? DCT-4 or BB5 ? Which cable are you using ? Phone goes to LOCALMODE ?

are you conecting the phone at Service Socket ?

that logs is nokia 1208... using 1100 jaf cable(if i connect to jaf using that cable finely good)
i connect to diagnostic...

and even to my 6680 and 7390 phone same result,same error phone not detected

You must conect to SERVICE Port not to the Diagnostic ( it is unused for now)

same other phone or not maybe cable problem cyclone need 100%good cable evry u connect phone dead or not

try to connect the cable directly to service port without yellow adaptor...then post if it can detect phones

Glad to see you solve the "problem" .

Just remember, for DCT4 & DCT4+ conect phones directly to SERVICE port. For BB5, conect phone to SERVICE port USING the TX2 adapter ( that comes with your box).

How did you solcved this issue man ? I have tried all logic solutions but I keep getting the same error PHONE NOT DETECTED...
Please let me know.
