Unhappy Nokia 5800d - Phone not detected [ Solved ]


Hi

I have been using Cyclone box for many months and love the box. Today i have encountered a vey strange problem and hope the product supporters/developers/users can shed some light on the problem.

I am trying to unlock the Nokia 5800d (RM-356 ), having attached the service cable to the phone via usb cyclone adapter. The phone displays test mode but cyclone software doesn't detect the phone. I have restarted the computer/phone and updated the firmware of the cyclone box but without avail; see the log below:

Use the Yellow adapter... See if your phone enter local mode on screen...

Click on check flashing bus ...

You have to use the correct pinout or fbus connector

Use the connector that you use to flash the 5310XpressMusic but leave the last two pins out (Not touching anything - refer to the picture) It will CHK and Boot after that

All sorted guys, thanks for your help. cleaned the cable and now the phone is unlocked.
