If the bios don't help it means one of the 2 cards has not OC capabilities (not able to apply the voltage regulation of the gpus).
In this scenario you can't set the cards at a speed over 900 mhz (most stable 850)

BR

Alex

Note: Both the cards must work at the same speed

How to add a sound at the end of the bruteforce

Been asked in PVT this question and I thought may be usefull for the other users too

Just download and install this little exe
http://www.mustang.co.za/exe/PlaySoundSetup.exe
once installed copy playsound.exe and tada.wav (you can find it in c:\windows\media) in the oclhashcat-lite folder
after each bf-line add the command
playsound tada.wav
job done

The problem begin when installed a watercooling. Before with the 6990´s originals coolers work well.

Maybe the problem comes from something bad I did to put the fullcover ? The thermalpads etc? With the 2 VGA the PC is turned off.
Once again I turned off !
With the 2 6990 is the same ! After 1 hour is turned off.
The aditional coolers and watercooling are connected to the PSU directly.
The funny thing is that it was after installing the cooling system began to happen this.

Honest I can't say anything sure day as I should have a look ath the job as it is done.
The temps are fine for what I can see so looks like the job been done well but, obviously, is only a first impression look.
Download and install GPUz and, using it, monitor in all the cards thevalues on the diferent parts of the cards (VRMs, memory etc.) as temps.. may be there is a problem with the cooling of part of the cards

Cheers

Alex

Hi Alex,
Can you tell me if it is possible that the PC is turned off because the frequency between the GPU was configured differently between the two? I did not notice that detail ... Now, is working well.
Now I put the 2 GPU Clock in 850Mhz and Memory Clock in 1250 Mhz each one. I tested each of the 6990.

regards,
Dany
