Member: 947561 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 14,053 | Is a quite easy modify as you won't use the 10pin MT plug.. Just modify the connection of the 10 pin Plug in this mode... deconnect pin 10 and 2 from the input and connect the wire of the pin 2 where was originally the pin 10 (for the version with USB cable add a diode to prevent box errors) connect directly the unused pin 3 to the pin 2 if the tma you have has the USB cable move the positive (+) from the pin 2 to the pin 10 as well use it without the TX2 adapter. Member: 947561 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 14,053 | Important!!! If the tma you have has the USB cable and you move the positive (+) from the pin 2 to the pin 10 the USB cable won't work any more with the JAF cables!!! BR Alex |

TMA have RJ48 10pin and RJ45 8pin modify RJ48 10pin connection stated above can use to MT cables RJ45 8pin no modify for JAF/UFS cable also RJ48 10pin no modify the problem here in cyclone VPP pinout program only VPP while in JAF VPP for DCT4 and TX2 in BB5 share same pin, its a cable mess for this new box that is why they use a TX2 adapter. maybe bb5 ok not DCT4 refer to this links pinouts of every box for reference. http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/show...ht=tx2+adapter | |

Member: 947561 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 14,053 | If he does the modify on the 10 pin section of tma he can use always the MT cables on DCT4 and BB5 without any problem as the pinouts is always the same... The tx2 adapter is to fix a bad use of the old boxes (Jaf and HWK) which were using the pin 8 as VPP in the dct4 and as TX2 in the BB5.. obviously Cyclone as all the new generation box has always the same pinout as MT does. So no worries.. just modify the 10 pin side and you MT-Box cables will be ok.. if you connect instead the 8 pin connector you will have full compatibility with the jaf cables (And you will need the TX2 adapter when you work with the BB5 mobiles with the Jaf cable) BR Alex |
