To Cruiser Support Vista Problem - GSM-Forum

Hi:

I m trying to install my box on my laptop with Vista (AMD Turion 64 2.2GHz 766Mb Ram Vista 32 bits) but when Cruiser 13.20 is installing it says ¨Failed to start SmartCard service¨ and therefore when I open software my box serial number is only ?????????? and dont work. I try over and over again but always same thing. Any solution?, please help. Thanks in advance.

Thanks but did you test them personaly when i install vista show blue screen

I did and am using them on Vindows Vista Business and Ultimate (both 32bit).

I haven´t gotten any problem.

Thanks for your answer, but how can I do for make windows change drivers, cause my box appears as ¨unknown device¨ in ¨USB Device¨tab and when I try to update drivers it says ¨there is no controller for 32 bit windows¨. Please help. Thanks a lot.

unknown device means broken USB cable, badly plugged smart card in (re-plug it) or broken card reader - change it.

I changed cable, changed usb port and still the same, ¨unknown device¨, I think it is cause during install software can't start smart card service. Any other sugestion????????, Please?????????

It will be broken card reader.. Do you have just reader or box version like that? http://img.diytrade.com/cdimg/553813..._Pro_3_Box.jpg

If you have box version, disassembly it and check the motherboard out (rehot pins, atc) or use a new card reader: http://www.gsm-technology.com/multic...reader_400.jpg

It´s absolutelly not true. The smartcard service couldn´t be started on win. vista during the installation Cruiser 13.20 (into a formated PC) because the smartcard drivers are not for win vista. You have to use those which I attached.
