Rssi

Hey
iam wondering about RSSI (Return Strenght Signal Indicator) values. Its easy to read in Wintesla but what do the values mean & how can they help us? If anybody knows what are the range of values & what they mean.

ie -120 = faulty ???
-110 = Normal range
- 80 = VCO problem????

If anybody knows what fault causes incorrect values, could they please respond.

Thanks!!

Hakika,

"write" correct values to ME !

Wintesla has RX caibrition , it need signal generator to provide a standard signal and level to phone ( like for GSM at CH 60 947.06771Mhz and level -55 and -80 dbm) , and let ME to "learn" what is correct level !

if phone function correctly, then that two different level will be A/D convert and save to eeprom !
