Member: 11937 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | Rssi iam wondering about RSSI (Return Strenght Signal Indicator) values. Its easy to read in Wintesla but what do the values mean & how can they help us? If anybody knows what are the range of values & what they mean. ie -120 = faulty ??? -110 = Normal range - 80 = VCO problem???? If anybody knows what fault causes incorrect values, could they please respond. Thanks!! |

Member: 10084 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 283 | wow good idea this test by me me -113-118 db is good work -80 db check C508 -85-87 db clean and rehot HARGAR -73-75 db clean and rehot COBBA -140 db clean and rehot COBBA i try test without VCO all vale not change this i can't solve it -91 db can't recieve and transmit any band -148 db can't recieve and transmit any band -112 db recieve ok but can't transmit any band i change CCONT,COBBA,HARGAR,26Mhz,VCO but not help .now i waiting for Mr.willy (best for nokia repair)reply more info by willy (see page2) Last edited by SE-THAILAND; 10-30-2002 at 08:13. |

Member: 1060 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 10 | DREAMGSM use search old post in forum will help and use oscilloscope to measure Hager to COBBA ( make sure which part is problem ) RX IP/QP signal , then you will see is it correct and balance ! Willy |

Wintesla has RX caibrition , it need signal generator to provide a standard signal and level to phone ( like for GSM at CH 60 947.06771Mhz and level -55 and -80 dbm) , and let ME to "learn" what is correct level ! if phone function correctly, then that two different level will be A/D convert and save to eeprom !
