first of first what drivers do i need for this second of all from what i have read and seen it is a giant paper weight at the moment unless i am missing something

windows 7 64 bit and windows xp 32 bit need both lots of drivers

please try on clean system and post me screen shot for the error you have

system is clean as it is a fresh install of windows xp and windows 7 i am not reinstalling

install correct smart card drivers .

i have installed the ones that came with setools i also tried the gpg multi driver pack they have

correct drivers cannot be found .
setool2 smart card is egate not ft scr 2000 .

show the device manger pic with setool attached .

ive just manually installed the egate smart card driver and still saying smart card not found

this shows that u must be using cypress based smart card reader .

edit : is your smart card updated ????

but when i put it back to the other driver it says
