i just found out your problem .

sorry for late .
your smart card serial is above than 0177500 .
so you must use one of these drivers ( links below ) .
otherwise smart card will not detect in updater .

drivers can be found at www.setool.net

also after several continious requests setool server blocks ip for 30 minutes .
so , please try after 30 minutes .
otherwise you will get same error .

same with my problem i buye SEtool 24k gold last friday dec 3 today i try use the new update same with problem of TS why GPG before release in the market his product why we cannot test before new update if working good....some other recomend take out smart card inside the box then put in smart card reader......but problem if we open the box how about warranty if GPG Company guranty the warranty box maybe al wiil try but no is probblem of all reseller ill be back my tools get my money back how can use the new update.....

start->run->regedit.exe, go to

and delete all subkeys, then reboot, retry.
