Hi Ernesto.
I have distroed one logic board with earlier post about removing the R1204 from it,then I read that I have to remove the R1205 ,and as I have done this I had to bypass the R1204 with the R1206, end of the day I had distroed the board. After this I restore other 2 iPads successful with the correct way.
What you have to do very carefull is to remove the R1205 on ipad 2 A1396 and just restore with the 8.1 iOS for wifi. That's it. Again dry not to touch any other resistors next to this one and remove your battery first.

thanks! but.. i don't know how to access to this resistors... and how i can recognize the r1205??? can u post a pic?

Be prepared to buy a digitizer if this is your first time pulling an ipad apart, but aside from that, this method is confirmed working on a ipad 3 version 3 gsm. NO soldering iron required, I used a steak knife to pop the a1024 restor off the board, itunes downloaded and installed the wifi ipsw and presto I was through the gates!
