Member: 81491 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 7 | I have distroed one logic board with earlier post about removing the R1204 from it,then I read that I have to remove the R1205 ,and as I have done this I had to bypass the R1204 with the R1206, end of the day I had distroed the board. After this I restore other 2 iPads successful with the correct way. What you have to do very carefull is to remove the R1205 on ipad 2 A1396 and just restore with the 8.1 iOS for wifi. That's it. Again dry not to touch any other resistors next to this one and remove your battery first. Regards |

Member: 2293969 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | Wow it really works! Be prepared to buy a digitizer if this is your first time pulling an ipad apart, but aside from that, this method is confirmed working on a ipad 3 version 3 gsm. NO soldering iron required, I used a steak knife to pop the a1024 restor off the board, itunes downloaded and installed the wifi ipsw and presto I was through the gates! |
