Hi, I have issue with my 3gs, i can't slide the phone to open.. Phone never got wet, or dropped. I changed out new digitizer and still couldn't cure the sliding. Does any one have any idea what's going? Is it a board issue? If it is, do you know what chip control this mechanism? Thanks

you can either change out the inductor 6R8 on the the board under the shield metal. If doesn't work you might have to use jumper. See page 10 for more detail.

I have another issue, I have a water damage 3g. After cleaning out the board, LCD is white and i tried another LCD, but it doesn't do the trick. Does any 1 have any ideas? Please help. Thank you

Hi, i have a 3G[S] 16Gb. I bought a solar power charger from ebay and plugged two iPhones and it killed them both.
I dont know how but after a week the one started working but the battery drains 4% per hour. Even if you switch the device off (power off) it still drains the battery 4% per hour. I replaced the battery with a new one but this didn't solve the problem.
Please help me...

my iPhone 4 is turning off if i don't us it after 10min to 2h maximum...but don't turn on if i try to turn it...when i plug the usb cable to computer it says "usb device not recognized"
the only way to turn it on is to unplug and replug the battery connector,after that the iphone is working perfect,but i have to use it and not to enter in stand by mode
the only way to use it and not autoturnoff is to put it in the charger and leave it there 24/24...but i don't need a fix phone,i wan't to use it like a mobile phone!
i try to replace the battery but same
when i buy it it was 4.0.2...i update the firmware to 4.1 but is turning off the same

So, i purchased an iphone off craigslist. The phone is unlocked and jailbroken. OS 4.2.1. modem firmware 6.15.00.

However, when i put my sim card inside.. it doesnt even search for a carrier. it goes straight to showing 1 bar ( in the signal panel).

It seemed like an antenna problem. So i installed a brand new dock assembly. However, the same problem persists ( only 1 signal bar is shown, without searching).

Does anyone know what the problem can be?

i have an iphone 3g 8gb.. it used to work before.. then one time it started to reboot itself during file transfer(music and apps) and while using the phone(calls and apps).

then i opened the phone to check it.. then after i closed it back. i cannot get it back to home. i always end up at recovery mode. i tried to restore it but i always get error 21 or 9. during restore it reboots during the "restoring iphone software phase" or just hangs. i also encountered white screen with colors flashing. i dont know whats wrong with my iphone.

i brought it to a repair shop and the tech said its a logic board problem.

any suggestion? could this be some faulty connection?

p.s the phone turns on sometimes with a black screen followed by the white screen then turns off. but itunes is able to recognize the phone both dfu and recovery mode.

I have changed the LCD screen on IPHone 4...
Now its not showing any signal....it always says searching......and then no service...
I tried another antenna too...but still the same...

any idea what could be the problem ????????

hello, I have a big problem ... my iphone 3g and I 'fell and broke his touch with the display .. I've changed upon but now it does not work in audio headphones do not get phone calls ... I do not feel, I can not hear system sounds, I do not feel talking on the phone, I replaced the sensor is that the speaker top and bottom Includes microphone ... but nothing .... help me!!
