i have got a 3GS 16GB with insert sim problrm, customer put the sim tray wrong way and ended up with no sim card inserted in the phone.
i put bit pressure on sim tray with my thumb and it used to recognise the sim but soon as i remove my thumb, message appears"no sim card inserted"
now i have replaced the sime reader with another one but still having the same problem,
anyone could help me to fix this problem please,

I have an iphone 3gs with version 4.0.2... I have cellular data tab in my network settings but no cellular data network settings..hence, i couldn't activate it... Im a novice when it comes to this and don't know how to proceed further..any help ??

m on 4.1 with 5.14.02 it is jailbreak with limera1n and working perfectly without sim card, i want to unlock it, please guide me should i restore again to 4.1 coz i dont want to go to 4.2.1 coz of tethered jailbreak. should i again restore n then run redsnow 0.96b5 or what should i do with current situation. please guide in detail step by step process for the battery issue. after run this should i put my original at & t sim n then run rep0666 1.2 for unlock.
should i simply click to install ipad baseband in redsnow, or click on both install cydia n ipad baseband ?
