i have 3gs 16gb stuck in dfu mode i think its is hardware problem but i dnt know how to slove this problem can u help me plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Iphone3g wifi not detecting....

Dear All,

I have Iphone 3g, i am experiencing that form some days my iphone not detecting the wifi. I have done all possible solution to rectify the problem but did,nt succeed. I have reset the network setting but it wont work for me, than i have reinstall the firmware 4.2.1 but it also wont work for me. I you guys have any solution, kindly tell me.

I will be very thankful to you..

Remove battery & put it back see if help,if not help there is short some
component.

Error 3194

Occurs when trying to install an old firmware and Apple's server disallows the installation. The only solution is to have SHSH backup and modify the hosts file to point to Saurik's Cydia Server where they are backed up (or localhost if you have it yourself).
Did you tried to downgrade?

That mean some component is shorting to Vbat unsolder that coil and
see if there is change.

That ic is glued with black resin?If no put some soldering flux and heat it.

Not sure if there's a black resin, I've searched the net and found out it's the LED DRIVER ic. Is there any problem, if I'll remove this one?

No that is not for back light,you can try to unsolder,but i recommend to replace it.

Hi can anyone please help me i have a iphone 3g i updated on itunes now it says waiting for activation this can take some time i tryed restore no luck and now i cant make calls either on it but when i turn the phne on without sim then i dont get that message it is on o2 uk network

3gs does not power on and no charge

I have a 3gs which does not power on.
and it does not charge.
Got it from a collegue.
Phone has no water damage.

Fuse on the docking was broken.i replaced that.
So the 5V from the charger is on the board.
Measured on the 2 inductors near the docking flex connector.

When i connect the charger trhe display shows the battery icon with a small red line. But there is no current going into the battery.
The battery can be charged outside the phone.

So i charged it outside the phone, and put it back, but the phone is not responding to the power on button?

is there a relation in the both issues.
So is 1 component responsable for not charging and not starting up?
