As mentioned yesterday I can't check the caps since I don't own a capacitance meter. However I checked the track between the Dz6 and C195 and track between Dz7 and C194 and they both beep so that makes the Speaker +ve and -ve connections good. What else could be the problem?
Hi
I still not understand what not work internal speaker or what

This chk is for internal speaker.

But for output speaker chk FL10_AP & FL11_AP at dock connector.

Hi Wites, the speaker which is not working is the one that is supposed to make sound when listening to music or putting a call on speaker or when you hear the lock sound (when you push the power button to go to sleep)

What do you mean by internal and external speaker? Theres only one speaker no in an iphone?

And should i jump dz6 and dz7 after i remove them? Also what is the electric component named dz? Its not a filter or capacitor, right?
by the way fl10 and fl11 (line out left and right) checked and both beep

Thanks

DZ are varistors that are not needed they might short or not short but make problems.
No need to jump them exclude this option.

Check if tracks arrive from C194 & C195 to solder pads of speaker.
Also if you have from other phone speaker assembly check this board in it.
Try restore settings and firmaware.
Also chk with multimeter to track and to gnd if show numbers.

iphone 3GS 32GB iTunes recognized but nothing more!

I have two of them with the same problem! iTunes recognizes them, but NO LCD display, NO SOUND, no KEYS response!(vibration) etc..

Measured all common voltages seem ok!.. Problem produced when a guy tried to exchange batteries between them.. he broke the flex of both screens and these screens are white on normal phone.. on these two even backlight doesn't turn on... From where i should start?

i.e. in keys connector all commands seem ok.. but no response from keys! Any help would be appreciated!

Do you mean I connect the speaker assembly to the board without battery and check continuity having one probe at cap and the other at speaker pad?

I checked with different speaker assembly and restored to 4.2.1 and still no sound.

1.Chk lines from capacitors to speaker solder pads at dock flex if arrive track
must have 00.1 or 00.2 ohm not more,if it have more make long jumper.
2.Chk with multimeter each of 2 tracks if show numbers with GND,red to track
black to gnd and vice versa see how much numbers show each track.
3.Chk input voltages for audio ic at FL6_AP=1.8V,FL28_AP=3V,FL29_AP=3V
FL30_AP=3.7V,this voltages are not exact check schematic at this filters.
See entire board if not missing some component.
If everything ok this is audio ic problem.
