How to unlock Mars? - GSM-Forum

i got few tools used to unlock this model, but it seems that i cant get the pc to communicate with it. i'm using serial cable, is there any ways around it?

Try with sim card inside.Not with D2 card.
Card that will make "wrong sim card phone is locked"

Well if you don't have communcation with the cable, then it won't be too easy....
Which provider is the phone locked at?

its locked to vodafone "pay as u talk".

Well you could desolder the EEPROM, put it in another phone and unlock it in another phone from the same provider... But it's probably not worth.
Fix that cable or get a working one, I'd say...

Yes, this cable (with external power) does all the jobs.

hoooo, I unlock many from this phone 6 or 8 yeard ago, I forget all about this phone, but don't forget, I have some software put the phone I think in speacial mode or with small logo, and after the phone need flash.

wich software you use for this old phone, I think now they have Vygis cracked for this ( but not sure ).

and you solve ur probleme or no ?

i havent solve it yet. i use trium unlocker but no communication with the Serial cable.

about me, I see one customer with this phone for unlocking, but not in my shop but in other shop, and the old unlocking last is :
one PHILIPS GENIE
one Siemens C35,
Panasonic GD87

some time they have a hold mobile phone, and I like this old phone.
