Note 3 " Still Searching" UART Don't work

Has anyone figured out a way to get the Note 3 to complete the Service IMEI repair after it reboots and is stuck searching for the phone?

The UART Cables provided by Octopus do not work and nether do some other UART Cable I ordered.

Does anyone have an alternate mehod

DID NOT WORK!

Few things

1. I can read and perform most of the operations via micro USB except at the end it does not complete that's because I am on a micro USB
2. Support......PLEASE none of the cables work and I ordered another as did a few other people and those don't work.
3. Since UART is not really working...... at all some cases. Is it possible you can you get it to work via Micro USB? I write IMEI on other phones via micro USB and it only seems logical to get that working all things considered .

I've tried everything so far and ordering another cable seems fruitless.

1. Most likely, the problem is with Samsung Micro UART cable You used. You should use Samsung Micro UART cable C3300k/C3303k with 523-525 kOhm resistor inside. Check resistor nominal and write here the result. As You can see here: http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f684...cable-1809652/, Mr. Gambitv01 have solved the same problem by using another Samsung Micro UART cable.

2. Post here full Software log with the Repair IMEI operation.

I have that cable and it doesn't work. I can order the other one mentioned but while we are talking is it possible when the phone reboots to get the Octopus Box to recognize and write the IMEI via micro USB? We are doing it on lots of other phones and so it only makes sense that we could do it on the Note 3.

I am pretty sure this has to do with not being able to access the ServiceMode DIAG CONFIG and not being able to change those settings.

Have you considered trying to get it to work from micro USB.

Yes, should work, If exactly 530 kOhm and no other problems with cable. But it is better to use cable with 523-525 kOhm resistor inside.
