Member: 1858414 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | tried the hssih52v and it does not work either. I am wondering if it is possible that it is bugged and has no master password. This URL is from hgpl's google group talking about some older 1525 systems with bios below rev 16: https://groups.google.com/forum/?fro...c/hk97kWU5LIQJ I appreciate you trying to help edgsam. I might try to do the paperclip short or try to get a used motherboard off of ebay or something if I can't find anything in the near future to fix this one. |

If so, there is a password jumper on the motherboard that can be used to reset bios password. Google " Dell Dimension 5150 motherboard" and look at images. There should be at least one layout that will show you where the jumper is located. | |
