Htc desire 500 backlight problem.


HI friend i have a strange problem whit an Htc desire 500 problem is light setting not work, the light inside lcd is low but visible i reset it but nothing changing in setting brightness also if i change the level not change also using automatic brightness not change but if i close sensor with the hand the two function keys light up.
somenone have had this problem.

Same problem here after JTAG, no shorts after removing the wires, still no light setting is working. Light sensor and proximity sesor work normal.

I try to find another device to see if it is mainboard or LCD.

Await any solution, thank you.

Did you find solution by any chance? I tested now with another complete LCD assembly, same problem with that, aswell.

Unfortunately I have not solved and i give back to customer but it's a very very strange problem I've never seen, usually in others phones when light not work not work, this instead has only a problem on the setting of the light.

I also have no idea what happened, but unfortunately it happened after I successfully did JTAG unlock on it. I guess I'll have to buy another one for customer

Coil 220 near to baterry conector from k800,k750 etc.

Thanks for solution. It works for me after Desire 300 water damage and low screen backlight. I have changed coil from HTC Cha Cha.

This first phone unlock procedure, then not light!

After change coil 220 backlight was work just few second and stop. Any other solution?
