Thanks Tigran, I have been to busy to log on the last few days. That is correct. You need the phone in diagnostic mode so qpst will recognize the phone. Just simply open command prompt and enter:

adb shell
su
setprop sys.usb.config diag,adb

You have to do this every time the phone reboots.

upload and share qnc files, so people can try it and report outcome.
so far only you had success with fixing network issue after imei change.

qnc aka nv/nvm.
octopus does backup of nv, but writing it back does not fix (in my case) network.

guys i tried everything but phone keep saying " SIM card added" and you need to restart it. i dont know what im missing. maybe the software is too new ? im trying with 4.4.4. Any ideas ?

Did you tried downgrading the firmware, and did the IMEI repair was successful on the 4.4.4?

yes imei repair was successful with 4.4.4. anyways tried to downgrade to 4.4.2 did imei repair and restore from qcn files. now its not asking to restart but not picking any signal. Still no use. I don't know what am I missing

When you restore QCN file you have to restore Nexus 4 first then the Nexus 5 QCN file

Damage means phone was dead but after I flash the phone and phone is ok but no network:D

Repair imei with octo LG Tool...make sure 2G works...flash qcn... The just write nvm with octo LG Tool..done
