Please install FTDI and e-gate drivers.

many times i got this problem
solved by (if using HUB USB) add external power.

what kind of external power you are telling about ?

hi,
I already do every change pc switch usb cable because I have usb cable Gold-plated I change the port but I still recognize unknown usb device and I install the driver and it does no me take

usually we are using pc port directly for octopus(recommended) but in case you using (HUB USB) you need external power.
there is (HUB USB with 4 ports)...there is some models need external power about 5 DC volt.(it is supplied by (HUB USB) when you buy it.

I have this problem , but i resolve !!!

I put a HUB USB 2.0 and now work grate !!! no error !

Check USB cable ( cable must to be very thick ). Get one of those cable form a desktop printer !!
Must to be short and thick !!!

batter is use direct PC usb port.
