i saw this on huawei support both models are same but first confirm then try

2. Put dload file into the root directory of the MICRO SD card.

plz guide m where paste this folder in mmc & which use 2GB , GB

Format the card with (fat 32) just past the dload floder into the card power off the phone then press and hold volume up + volume down and power button together util your phone start flashing firmare itself.

bro. formate fat 32 then paste folde in mmc & tried with this method

Upgrade Method:

1. Obtain software and extract it you will see a dload file
2. Put dload file into the root directory of the MICRO SD card.
3. Make sure your handset is stay in idle screen. Insert the MICRO SD card into the handset,

4. Enter "*1673492846" in the idle mode and press "down" key.
5. Select "1.Memory card update=1.Update version management=>3.Software update"
6. Update begin and wait till update finish.
7. Check the version by entering "*2580"

after it F show in display

i m waiting 20 min. more but same thing


any wrong process by me ?????????????

Root of sd card means that the dload folder should not be in any other folder. Its recommended to pasre dload folder into newly formated card in which there is no other files or folders except dload folder.

It doesn't take 20 mins you must be doing something wrong. Try my method power off the phone after 5sec press and hold (volume down +volume up +power button) together for few seconds the phone will start flashing firmware it self.

It seems that the firmware you flased was for the different product code thats why you are facing this issue try fleshing all frimwares for your device and flash them on by one see which one works. Other wise try to find out your product code and download the firmware according to your product code.

bro. i tried with all 3 files which available here but 2 failed 1 flash ok but same prob.

my set is vodafone 840

boot ver. - Boot_V840_B100_20080814

App Ver. - APP_V840V100R001C02B536SP01-SEC-DEBUG-NO LOG

EFS ver. - EFS-V840V100R001C02B536SP01-20090918-VF_it_a

HW main ver. - U7510_NOR MAL

HW sub ver. - ver. B
