hi peeps, am trying to restore 2g iphone with a custom firmware...
keep getting error 1604

tried itunes 8.2 and also itunes 9 :/
same error, any ideas ??

i think u r restoring in recovery mode just try the same in DFU mode

mate run itunes 8.2 then conect ur iphone in usb ,press and hold menu and power button in 10 sec. wait until your iphone detected as dfu mode. then,hold shift key and restore and it will be fine
