Need Subsidy pass,been trying to unlock

hey, first of all let me apologise for being a complete newbie.
right here goes

got a razr v3x,locked to h3g found a program to run so that i could unlock it,when trying to flash first time got a critical error message 80 40 coming up, re booted phone and after 4th attempt flash was done seemingly.where i am now is when put an o2 sim in phone which i am wanting to use im getting amessage asking for subsidy password, bit of a tight wad with no spare cash lying around so im really hoping there is some way i can redeem my phone for free.
Am i right in thinking if i was to try and de brand this phone it might accept o2 sim or am i just being a stupid woman?

ah, since writing this ost i have done a wee check thing motoblade v.1.45a and it now saying to unlock this phone i need to do it by test point,whick quite frankly sounds quite scary to me lol.Does this sound correct to you? if that is the case why am i getting message saying i need subsidy password, arghhh feel like im banging my head off a wall
