Help remove nand (HDD)


Hello,
I need help, i remove sucess hdd ipad air2 but i lost 3 capacitor arround HDD.... I trying put back but is soo dificult ... Any one have a another solution ?

use soldering iron with tiny tips


you need
  1. microscope
  2. soldering iron with tiny tips and pointed
  3. good skill on soldering

If the caps are broken. You can proceed with your Nand Reball and installation.

It should work without those caps. Anyways you can replace them afterwards.

I know its not good to not solder back the Caps but sometimes i do leave them unsoldered. And it works.

But it's just what i do.... You can definitely buy a Microscope and solder back those caps on...

Please keep in mind that some Caps around NAND are marked as CRITICAL. So you have to place them back. Or if the ipad is not working it could be this.

Check the schematics for it! (if somenone has them for ipad air 2 :P )

Whats the kapton tape for ?, kaptop tape isnt a heat shield, it wont protect the cpu from being overheated, its not a heatsink. I can reflow small ic's through kaptop tape, so it pretty much does nothing to stop heat.
