Member: 1097232 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Bricked htc Touch Diamond - Is it really GOODBYE? I know the chances are slim.. I tried to unlock my touch diamond, using the wrong s/w and not reading up enough! Now i have a "brick" it does nothing. I have read about "boot is avilable only via j-tag tracer icd" ive done a lil research on this but not really come up with too much.. DO i just need to forget about my phone (bin it) or is there hope, either using the above method or any other form of black magic !! I would love to revive my phone as i only had it a few weeks, i miss her greatley Thanks for any feedback / help with this problem of mine. Alex |

Again... I tried to unlock my U.K HTC Touch Diamond as it was locked on the Orange U.K network. I have since moved to Australia and wanted to use the phone here. I downloaded the htc unlocker and followed instructions. I obviously now know i used the cdma version, my phone was not cdma (think it was GSM), and this is where the problem lies. The phone turned off after the "are you sure you want to proceed prompt" and has never turned back on again. Everything else i have already mentioned above. I need to understand what this unlocking error has done to the phone, i live pretty close to Chiatown here, so if a fix is out there, im hoping my asian brothers can help me out... Alex | |

Member: 15312 Status: Offline Sonork: 100.1576041 Thanks Meter: 1,097 | I just mentioned I always look for dead HTCīs. Actually I already posted on "wanted" section about this http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/show...&highlight=htc I try my own methods to repair. Later I sell these. itīs a kind of business. Soon will put more then 10 units for sale here on forum, for internacional sales. @wagstafari You apparently "killed" the bootloader. Not sure if thereīs a real solution for this or cheaper then buy pcb board for 200usd. For what I know, software canīt help you by now, since thereīs no signal from unit. |
