i have imate jam power on required password i was press pass 4th digit phone is hang

KEEP power button PRESSED and also press reset button from the hole.

if your problem will be not solved download latest firmware upgrade from I-mate official website.

@ask_n_ans,
TRY THIS..

1. Press and hold soft1 and soft2 keys.
2. Press and hold power button for around 1 to 1.5 seconds. Release power button. Keep hold soft1 and soft2 keys.
3. Later, screen shoould show instructions to ask user to press '0' key to reset to factory default.
4. Press '0' within the timeout period, which is only several seconds only.
5. If no instruction is shown on the screen, repeat steps 1 to 4.
The timing is sensitive.

The best solution is hard reset , power+camer+reset switch , after you press that 3 keys you will see a engineering mode then you press the reset key all the user data will be refrashed (pw,contact messages etc) then you will get your phone back!

pls Friends i used the to solution but it respond to non of them what elsse can i do
The phone is I-mate SP3i need to reset the phone may i still another way to do this

Th SP3i is not this topic talking about! try following hw reset methods upvolum key+camera+power , after you press that 3 buttons at the same time shortly you will see a white screen then 3 color bar will show on the screen. after that you now need to power off it then on it. you wil get a clean phone back!
