as i told above i sent 2 set's with this problem to one who i said can repair without touching pcb & he repaired them for me without any single sign of workin on audio compiler & etc .i disassembled & saw it by myself .
but how? i dont know
most probable its from one of the upper or lower flexes but flexes in market are totally crap
send any success story of it
For me it's just a sad storry because I have killed a verry expensive phone.

Francis, my phone has all of a sudden developed this problem. It was working fine for the last 3 months but since last week, the mic is not working. I am guessing this is due to the noise cancelation. I am also based out of Dubai. Would it be possible for your to fix this for me? Please PM your number.

Thanks,

Faisal

Do you have any ideea why?

First of all u must becarefull the chip beside audio ic.It may damage when u use hot air gun. This the most important.

Does any body here can post the schematic diagram for voice processor IC? Because making direct jumper in the board itself might help as the second option just incase we damage the IC.

Thanks in advance....

When you use Loud Speaker; noice cancellation MIC is activated for audio feed, hence you can speak normally while using Loud Speaker.

NOW, check whether you can record anything using Voice Memos. If yes; then do the same procedure (reball the audio compiler)

If NO, recording is not possible using the Voice Memos then, change the primary MIC.

Cheers.......

First thing sorry for my english...

Hi Francis,

As i can see, you know a lot of thing on the iPhone 4. Maybe you'll can help me.
I changed a LCD screen on a iPhone 4 but now i have the noise cancellation problem... it wasn't my phone and i don't know if it was working before disassembling it.
I found this thread People can't hear me after replacing screen - iPhone 4 - iFixit
but nobody respond on it.
Do you think that i have assembling something wrong ? Or it's the same problem that your are talking here?
If i can't find somebody to do the job, can i send you my phone ?
Thanks a lot and happy new-year
