bros. try to fix the handsfree socket itself... by reseting it manually using headset plug insert and remove it for several times,

no problem with the ic brothers... the problem is on the handsfree socket itself, simple logic how come that the mic is damaged? if it is working on voice recording?
reset manually youre handsfree using headset plug, to enable the swictching process of the handsfree socket.. i fix 2 pcs... iphone4 v4.2.1 only today

bro. try to reset the switching process of the handsfree socket using the old headset plug, by inserting it and removing for several times.... i fix same problem yesterday.. hope it helps...

i agree with francis, reballing or changing the audio processor will solve the mic problem i have done this for 10 phones and it's working 100%

we have 150pcs of audio processor on stocks just incase the ic itself is damage.

1. Call a phone shop and know how much a new iphone 4 cost:d
2. Reball the audio compiler
3. Change audio i.c


first i reballed one dead, learnt a lesson, now i have done 6.
