3310 v 4.06 flash file - GSM-Forum

anychance some one could send me a flash file to put a 3310 back onto orange again ? either tht or tell me hoe to convert one ?? please. Thanks in advance

I will send you a locked partial I am 98% sure it is an Orange locked one.

the start address will be the same as the normal unlock partial

Sorry, that I interrupt but locked partial is the only one what you download from a locked phone. It is the same if phone locked to 23201, 23207, 21601 or something. The lock isn't in partial flash. This part of flash is only a jump. Jump to eeprom and jump eeprom's request. This request a simple question, that phone locked or not. The answer is in eeprom: -if phone is locked to XXXXX and SIM isn't from XXXXX network then answer is SIM card not accepted. -if phone is unlocked then answer is OK.

And partial flash is evade this request and the MCU is work further... Isn't that so?

confused ... is it not as simple as reflashing with a locked orange flash file ???

Hi!

If you have a locked partial, then flash it to your phone and it will be locked...

Basivly what jarod is trying to say is if the phone was locked locked to orange originally then it will be locked to orange if you flash a locked partial so it doesn't matter what phone it is taken from.
