unstable 3310

i have a 3310 that when powered on, it is ok, (but it does not have signal though).

when the software is reset, it displays "SIM Card not accepted."

i tried to flash it with fresh MCU-PPM and also virgin eeprom but it still behaves like this.

any ideas from anyone?

@ phoneshack

4 locks are closed. everytime i unlock it with eeprom tools, it turns ok. then after restarting the phone, it returns to its "4-locks closed" state.

deKod

if it's a hardware problem, do you have any idea how to repair it?

same problem here man, first check the status of the decoded MSiD of your phone using noktool by rolis or just use eepromtools 3.1, if the decoded MSiD in eepromtools (numbers below) are "00 00 00 00", 1000% cobba problem. reheat it or replace it.

Replace your COBBA IC kabayan with a new one. Preferably brand new and sealed. Not those from quaipo w/c more often than not are just dummy ICs or rejects.

If still the same replace also your FLASH IC. Reset sp locks, restore IMEI, calc FAID afterwards.
