Twister can't set the FAID - GSM-Forum

Hello,

I've flashed a Nokia 3310 from 5.33 to 6.33 with Twister (DCTX_v1.3d) , after that I have Set the Faid . But the phone restarted after a few seconds again.

Than I've Set the FAID with Dejan Dongle and it worked , the phone didn't started a again after a few seconds.

Why ??? Is their a BUG on DCT 3 FAID Setting ???

Did you tried set faid manually?

I have no problems with DCT3

Specially with 3310

I have flashed 3310 v6.33 (only PPM) but no problem with FAID

Hi

I bet that if you had done set faid once more you would have had it..

have tried it where it said that faid was set but it would not work, just did it again and it worked...This is not a twisterflasher problem i think, it also happened to me when i did 3310 with serial and parallel cable in the old days..

Yes I've tried to set the Faid manual , with Twister it doesn't work .

Than I take my good old Dejan Dongle , set the Faid with than and it work .
