I only can read the history.

Can anyone tell me how to change my bios setting for the LPT so that I can use this clip on my Win XP Pro?

ON PORT SETTING -RESTORE IT TO DEFAULTS

ON RESSOURCES -CHECK THE BOX THAT SAID USE AUTOMATIC SETTING AND CLICK
OK

2)SAMETHING WITH communication Port(com 2 )

Okay just so everybody knows, I have WINXP and Vitual PC WIN98SE (so with WIN98SE wont be able to connect with Internet ) The clip does not work with WINXP but works 100% WIN98SE (tried the read log in WIN98SE and reads 100%)

So no doubt the authors of Smart-Clip are watching and working on a solution as I write

Thanks people !!

don`t write that smartclip have no support with XP, because on my XP work very well.
maybe problems are with cables or PC hardware configurations.

In that case maybe u will be kind enough to give your LPT settings of BIOS and of Device Manager to rest of forum members to help them get it to work on XP !!

I can use every single LPT unlocking device apart from this one and according to the posts there are a few people in the same boat as me. So come on dude tell us the setting !!

EDIT: Just ran the SCreader in WIN98 compatability on WINXP and it works but cant get the update one to work as its an ActiveX (or whatever u cal it!)

Ok I found this setting in my BIOS.

INTEGRATED PERIPHERALS:
1.Onboard Parallel Port = 378/IRQ7
2.Parallel Port Mode = SPP
3.ECP Mode Use DMA = 3
4.EPP Mode Select = EPP1.7
In ECP & EPP I can`t change anything because they are in grey color because mode is SPP selected.

I/O Range 0378-037F

Smart Clip Team once again solve my problem for my V80. So far I play with many unlock and flashing device but none of their support n services come close to Smart Clip Team. Thump up.

Now I try with the Solution for Win XP see if its work for me. Solution by UHK.
