U600 Locking problem - GSM-Forum

Hi, i am trying to LOCK to networks with NS Pro i have used various versions including the latest however ALL versions fail.

Entering Test mode...
Locking phone...
Operation failed!

Reading codes and the un-lock function works fine? Any idea? Can somebody please help.

P.S. I have noticed that i get a better result if i start the un-lock or get info button then plug the cable in. Although i have tried having the phone powered up with and witout sims, no battery / battery etc etc etc.

try with the NSPRO powersurge cable attached this will help .........

Ok, thank you for the reply... However, i cannot find anything on the powersurge adapter? where did you get one from or do you make it?

ok i now have the power surge cable and i still cannot lock the U600?? Anyone else have any ideas?

Dont know if this will help but any function i use on this model of phone i press immediately after pressing power ON on the phone

try using a sim in the phone on the original network and using the pc suite when it connects. works for me
