Correct port (on my picture) is COM5 (Infinity USB serial port).
2. You have to use for X300 cable with "G50" label. It's cable with Hands-Free jack with 4 (four) metal pins (pls, see attached picture too).
3. Insert cable into left RJ-45 connector (near Rx/Tx LEDs).
4. F-BUS/M-BUS switch on front side have to be in up position (F-BUS)
5. When you select correct COM port, start software and press "Unlock" button, you have to see GREEN LED is blinking very fast. This means that COM port selected Ok.
6. Now press phone Power button (Red button) for several seconds. When progress-bar start to move you can releas Power button.

Hello !

Please, follow the next steps to check what is wrong:

1. Double check, what COM-port you use. If you use ordinary COM-port cable and if you connected it to PC back side then it can be that you connected cable to COM-2.
Please, try to select COM-1 or COM-2 and try to make unlock again.

2. Pls, check attached pictures (connector modifications) in this thread.
It can be that connector not so good fit into phone.

3. If you have any other phone (f.e. A100/G50/G70), try to make unlock for any of these models.
If you CAN work with any of these phones, but can't work with X300 then double check item 2.
If you CAN'T work with any of these models, then check item 1.

4. If you can start software and you can see dongle serial number, this means that you have installed all drivers Ok, so don't need to uninstall/install anything again.

5. If you still have problems, then send file: Log_GD55_G5x_G70_A100_X300.txt
to this mail: InfinityHelp at yahoo.com.hk

You can find this file in the same folder where software located.
Then we can try to check what is wrong.

Hi,

You can flash dead x300 w/o problems.
Procedure is the same as ordinary. Just connect cable, press software "Flash" button and press phone power button.

G50 = G70 = A100 = X300 = A210 = SC3 = E101 = E342

you can see all pinouts in support area "Cables/Pinouts" section

@InfinitySupport
I have problems connecting my X300 with infinity, can i know what is the best baud rate setting is it 115200, 230400, 460800, or slowest and what is the best setting for communication speed calibration bar is it in the beginning, middle or last.

Also if i tick Auto my Comport will change to Com x VCPO, can i know what this means?

Its very hard to communicte. I plug the G50 connector in and leave some space so that when i press and hold Power button its RX and TX LED will on.

I just try to reset setting on this X300. Any help is really appreciated. Thanks

br,
s1emens

Hi,

Baudrate: 115200
Com port selection: when you tick on "auto" box you will see com ports that really exist in your system - software show only available ports and internal system port names (like "VCP0").

As about connection problem: pls, check "FAQ" thread. you will see inf about X300 communication problem at 1st page (with picture how to adjust connector to make it more good for X300). in most cases need to cut rubber around metal pin to allow connector fit in X300 completely.
