This read error comes up often, sometime reads but most of the time does not.
Tried on several different computers, with the latest drivers installed, phone connected directly to usb port, but same thing. I've noticed it happens most often on the Sprint LSxxx series with the latest firmware.

1 minutes ago I dump LS993 and all ok. Tomorrow we release 9.48 and you try.

At least please include the exact model and firmware version so developer can investigate it.

Most likely you have overwritten the booloader with recovery.
You can brick easily, and it's very difficult to revive it.
I agree that developer should think about including rooting method in the app, however I know it's not easy because each model is different (no one click here).

i´m agree. the developer MUST add a safe root method, WE ALL know how fragile are the LG system, i had some LG phones with boot damaged when i tried to root, even when tried to flash with the same version.

please make any autoroot or sort of it,

All already done in vain . Tested in 3 different PC . Adb device not found . The phone is rooted by the same PC.
