@Infinity-box: I'm not interested into starting a mobile GSM business. I am just trying to format my phone, whose software is not working properly (is restarting all the time). That's why I'm looking for a free solution, and not to buy that box.
So, if you have any way to point me to formating with a free software, please point me out.

I think this thread should be sticked. This solution work for all CECT T689 restarting itself when bettery inserted is due to bluetooth module failure.
I try it and its work like a charm.

Ic is like cpu a suare part in the phone with many pins. The bluetooth has label of samsung on it. Just look at the board and you will find it. But this work in the case its not a software problem. So try 1st format ffs of the both cpu.

I cannot find the bluetooth chip, but I will keep looking.
If anyone can please point me how to format ffs on my phone WITHOUT infinity-box, I would be eternally grateful. What is "FFS" anyway?

What method you have used to find "bluetooth chip" ? Did you tried to use "google" or "yahoo" ?

Man, if you can't find this chip and you don't understand what is FFS you must stop to write and start to read messages in this forum at least for nearest 2-3 weeks.

Look, it's very simple. You just explain me in step-by-step instructions, how to format my CECT T689 phone with no external hardware (such as infinity-box and similar), and I will stop bragging about bluetooth ic, ffs and else.

It is so simple.

That's the exact answer I was expecting. I will find a way to format the phone somehow but I will never write it on this board, since I am just following the 'helpfulness' of the whole 'community'.

1. make full flash backup for emergency case (use 921000 speed for fast operation)
2. select "safe format method"
3. make "format ffs"
4. remove/install battery
5. press and hold phone "Power" button during 30-40 sec to make phone powered-on
if phone Ok go to step-6
if phone not Ok, go to step 2 and select "complete format method"
6. restore original imei

work for me with (cect v8) thanks
