How to control the SPAM

There should be a button Named "Report" as there is a thanks button. On pressing the Report button, there should POP UP a window asking "Reason" & submitting the report, this report should go to section moderator, receiving this report they may clean the spam and also useless post

Here much speak of users but never speak of really important,all which should lead by example (Product manager) and (Product Supporters) should Create rules for not have problem projects three or five months and not updates and user is conned, that the administrator sure who sells your space this is a deal excellent but much coders pay a space here and after never more connecting in forum.

this should be severely penalized but nobody do nothing, many projects remain serious but others have abused the trust of their customers and this is directly guilt of all administrators for do a good forum you have to start cleaning the head.

I think no better place to list some improvements I though in these years would improve the forum

a) Brand section (aka apple, samsung etc etc)

Create the role of the section supporter, a role similar to the product supporter in the offcial support area: these users would help the are moderators in answering the threads , sorting them and would do a real support action in the area
Create a firmware area for each brand where ther users can post the links to the firmwares needed: this would help to create a good firmware database which could be afterward, with the obvious sorting action, conglobate in a dedicated files server and a fully dedicated firmware area
Create the dedicated sections for Huawei and ZTE as right now, whatever cinese brands, have a market bigger then nokia

b) Sales section

Study something to separate the professionale sellers from the amatorial ones: this area would be something similar to the ebay power sellers and available as posting only for professional companies with a solid reputation or background
Prevent the post wars in it: no 2 product managers of the same tool posting the same offer every day to make of it their personal advertising space

c) GSM news

Leave it for the product mangers to post about their tools news and create a secondary area for the public interest news like jailbreaks, new ios (weird I never seen any updates about kies in the gsm news area ) managed by the moderators. It can be as well trasformed in a blog in the future

d) Market feedback

A transitional area (we can call it warning area) should be introduced so the issues not solved after a defined timeframe would be moved there until not sorted or moved finally to the cheater list: who enters the warning area would have sospended the right to post in the sales sections untild the issue is sorted

e) suggestions

a thread dedicated to the suggestions should be in each main area: this would help a lot in deciding some priorities and undesrtand what the users really would improve in that area of the forum

f) polls

reduce their duration to max 2 months as is incredible still people votes polls done 5 years ago

I absolutely agree. Many people come here receive the code for free, here is an object lesson:
248 post to one member, ALL free code request. (LOL)
