d) Market feedback

• A transitional area (we can call it warning area) should be introduced so the issues not solved after a defined timeframe would be moved there until not sorted or moved finally to the cheater list: who enters the warning area would have sospended the right to post in the sales sections untild the issue is sorted

e) suggestions

• a thread dedicated to the suggestions should be in each main area: this would help a lot in deciding some priorities and undesrtand what the users really would improve in that area of the forum

f) polls

• reduce their duration to max 2 months as is incredible still people votes polls done 5 years ago

agree with most of this you posted Alex, ..but polls shouldnt be limited as u say but just more thoroughly moderated so if its an old poll that should be closed then it could be closed.

@ all sugessting 1$ -2$ registration for sales section well its not gonna do much anyone can pay 1-2$

in such case it should be 100$ per year or something..



a suggestion,

would be to have "PAID MEMBER" or "FREE MEMBERS"

that will allow all traffic to site and all to sign up etc. they would be default - "FREE MEMBER" and you can opt to be a PAID MEMBER for a fee.

What does PAID MEMBER get you ? and why should u pay ? Well 1 it will give u status but it should give u the acess to
SALES section - as long as you agree to the "sales section rules"
(this last clause would excluse spammers so if they breach rule then they lost their right and they lost their paid member fee)

From long time I was thinking about one important proposal

Please generate one special Section, (Resellers Sales/support main section) instead of main sale section, only for Distributors and Resellers. for their products advertisement / support their customers

and please allow one PM, and one PS for each Reseller Section, and make it Paid
with reasonable Price per year policy, for All Resellers

For example
Resellers Main Section Sale /support
I- Iqbal communication (Pakistan/world wide)
II- Mobile Clinic (India )
III- TRUST GSM Bangladesh

small list from my side:

- add captcha for newly registered users on every "post reply" and "new thread" for at least 10~20 posts....

- do not display the posts/threads of newly registered users until there posts/thread are approved by section moderators.

- do not display the images/attachments/links from posts/threads for un-registered/guest users...

- add "SOLVED" in moderation options, so when the problem of a user is solved, we can easy select "SOLVED"
option from drop-down list and it should be shown something like this: "Solved: xyz problem of a xyz tool"
instead many of us edits the title and writes manually.

- Increase "edit post" timing - longer then 10 minutes...

- enable signature option at least for Product Managers/Supporters.... so we could add our HOT solutions links
to it of course only GSM-Forum links.

- have some super-moderators/moderators who actually replies to users regarding their problems,
instead of making sticky threads and cleaning sections.. that's what GSM-Forum lacks =(

some response on others' view:

- ban to FREE beggars ? no way - they will find other forums for it.... it can't be stopped i think...
Let Dongle/Box Author do the job for them...

- paid Main Sale Section ? is good idea indeed, but then get ready for the mass on your sonork after this =( heheh..

- paid registration ? which forum would want to have less registered members? none i guess =)

one thing more i want to say plz add a differnt section for 3g modems like zte huawei or other brands .......for unlocking flashing etc..
coz there is no proper section for 3g modems..........

so we need registration from admin they can add any rules for this.
