Thank for your reply, I restored fresh (DFU) several times and tested with SIM's from different carriers (all connected with perfect signal and I was able to make calls), but problem persists. The phone is in very good condition, never dropped - all parts original.
Could it bee the PMIC that is unstable ?

Typical problem the battery is high copy and not original. Replace with APN 616-0435 battery or else the watchdog daemon will report the non-conformity and will restart the phone every 1-5 mins.

Doesn't matter what FW or baseband here (I found 3 similar cases with 3GS and ipad1)

My suspicious goes to BB Ic processors, but I just wondering if someone here really knows about this issue, and even able to draw the schematic to solve this, would be very appreciated

Thx

come on please.. can anyone help me? or just simple reply would be appriciated..
thx

I have a iPhone 3GS 4.1 bb 6.15 and I wanted to upgrade it to 5.0.1, so I made a custom ipsw with snowbreeze and restored my iphone via itunes with this custom ipsw (so I can unlock it after the restore) , after the restore my screen just went black and my iPhone dont want to boot up anymore... and itunes always recognizes my iphone and says it needs to restore, but when I try to restore it again it gives me error 1600 even if it is already in pwned dfu mode with redsnow...I also tryed to get pwned dfu mode with iReb or snowbreeze but its always the same
please help me out dude, i really need my iPhone back...

i don't think its a hardware problem, try installing 4.1 and after jailbreak reinstall iPad base-band and check with ultrasnow, after that if its working you can upgrade the phone with noBB custom FW, in my case i upgraded 3gs with 5.0.1(stock FW)it started searching without SIM, if we do so it corrupts the base band.

iphone 3gs completely dead

2 Attachment(s)
Hi to all guys... i have a problem with an iphone 3Gs that is completely dead, i don't know very well the story of these iphone but i notice that on backside there was a burned filter on LCD circuit (the same mentioned by whites in these circuit solution at the right downside corner, sorry but i haven't got the microscope to take picture in these period), i removed burned filter and i jumpered it.

After I check voltages on PMIC and these's the result, there's a line of capacitors and the coil that should be at 1.0V but tester give me 0V. Should i make the reballing of PMIC?

Check L11 coil if beep or not short to gnd, possible PMIC burn you look in schematic how that filter is connected.

Thanks white...i haven't got any detailed circuit schematic however i check all the coil and the only one that have a very low resistance to GND is the L9_AP
