Download iRecovery from here:
iRecovery downlod

and follow the readme.txt file inside

Then put your iPhone in Recovery Mode and open cmd and cd to the iRecovery.exe file then enter iRecovery.exe -s and then iRecovery is supposed to show you some text. I am interested in that text

To run irecovery you need to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable.

In 3gs it is named Battery SWI in iphone 4 it is Gas Gauge no matter,a filter is a component that beep/short when check with multimeter so you can jump it.

I checked the green marked resistor on 200kOhm range, and it showed me around 99,
Violet makes multimeter to beep (I checked it directly without any pointing to GNS i'm right yes Withes?)

I removed the logic board from a 3gs and the small copper prong on the bottom right hand corner of it got caught and snapped off. Is it essential? Does it need to be re-attached? if so any idea how?

Also I can insert sim and get one bar for 10 secs and then no service. How can i fix no service?

Thanks
